Lockout timer, not sure about it.

I am not sure the lockout timer is working as envisioned.
In my opinion the lockout timer should not apply unless the player flags for rvr.
Realm balance is basically a 50/50 chance now, meaning that a player is stuck on the logged realm even without being involved in an ongoing campaign.
As many other players have expressed, PVE Players and Traders are stuck in an inappropriate mechanic.
I know I expressed a need to fix xrealming in the past and it has always been dismissed, but since xrealming is now basically acknowledged by such a measure we can find a solution that does not involve catching up innocent players.

There is nothing wrong with locking pve and trade players to a realm. It's very much intended. If you need to coordinate before you log in, it's 2020, you have options.

What are the intentions behind locking PvE and traders... specifically why you seem to be giving the impression you guys had the foresight about traders and are in fact addressing a problem? Just curious

Wargrim, I am not sure I understand the intentions here, not transparent enough.

Thank you for reminding me in what year I live.
So since it's 2020, why do I have to login to check the population in the lakes just to get stuck for 80 minutes on the overpopulated realm with the rest of the xrealmers.

Am I the only one here thinking that people won't even bother logging back to Order? Because this is clearly the problem right now, an overpopulated Destro realm.

You log into a realm, you get locked to that realm. Whether you're merely trading or running dungeons doesn't make a difference. If anything punching holes in the realm lock opens up opportunities to exploit the system. It adds very little value to do so in a primarily realm vs realm game.

maybe you should consider removing the medallion and rr penalty at 100% aao then. Right now you are stuck on the overpopulated side due to shifting population throughout the day with no way to switch to the underdog.

You can change side during the day, just 90 mins after login.

you are right, maybe I worded that a bit wrong. it is still possible that upon logging in numbers will switch drastically in one realms favor (which happened just today and that's why I'm bringing it up)

I think the timer should be reduced to 45 mins or an hour. I thought it was primarily to stop folk switching sides at seiges.

Totally agree, 85 Minutes is ridiculously high.
