dll Execution Error - Please help?

Hello folks!

Thanks to the LP video the other day, I'm excited to be here and play WH again. However, after downloading and installing the game twice, I keep getting the same error message when I try to play. The message is listed as below. Anyone know how to resolve this problem? For reference, I did NOT use the torrent to download the game.

WAR.exe System Error:

The code execution cannot proceed because d3dx9_34.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

You need to install DirectX 9. If that link doesn't work for you just do a google search to find the correct microsoft link.

That doesn't make sense - I'm using WIN10 so DX9 is for old versions of Windows.

The game was designed to run under Windows XP, and requires DirectX 9. Installing it won't overwrite newer versions of DirectX (10, 11, 12) it just installs it alongside those versions. Installing DirectX is step six in the download game link at the top of the page, gotta complete ALL the steps if you wanna play...
