[AM] Scaling + playstyle questions

My first question is if the paths multiplicatively or additively add damage against stats. I.E. does intelligence become more powerful if I invest in path of asuryan, or is int just a flat bonus?

My second question is how do rotations work when you're focused on damage or healing? Are you still weaving in an instant cast spell of the other school or not? Also, do you focus solely on Willpower or int in that scenario?

I guess I'm confused because the class mechanic works best/gives the most bonuses/throughput when you're alternating between an attack and heal spell and so I don't know what I'm supposed to do.

While I will try to weave in dots while healing, and the Law of Gold silence when I'm specced for it, I tend to use my morale pump more than dps,

But what about dps? And is the recommendation to focus on mostly willpower or int and still weave tranq/force buffs for constant high magic?

For dps you want int. And it never hurts to throw heal when the help is needed. I love the dps and healing styles of the Archmage. Played it on live. Playing again here. Even in dps mode off healing at the right time can really be beneficial. However, as to the mechanic you really only stick to what you are doing at any given time. You don’t typically weave back and forth. However, having it fully stacked does help when you off heal or want to lay down that dot in my experience.

You put stats into INT or WILL, you don't mix unless you want to build a 1vs1 hybrid spec, where you bore your enemies to death until you kill them.
You usually don't alternate heal and dmg spells and ignore the mechanic for the most part.
In dps spec you can cast some assist heals and faster revive, and as healer you can cast a fast silence or ranged aoe knockback but that's it.
