Does Tether work when healing?

Not able to get it to work (using VinyUI) and just wondering if the addon will work if I am playing a healer

Probably doesn't answer your question, but I've learned yesterday that both characters need tether installed to get it to work automatically.

I fixed it by using "/tether force" every time I change guard.

that link got Tether working and the addon doesn't work the way I thought, I thought it linked you to anyone you have targetted

Teather is mainly a guarding addon that shows a line to the one who using Guard on you / the one you are Guarding
