I'm new to the game and I'm sure this will seem like a stupid question, but when people on the forums are talking about small groups and duo's what are they referring to? Is there some kind of arena play or are they talking about joining full scenarios with a friend?

When they mention small groups, they mean 6 man parties for RVR roaming and scenarios. A duo is exactly that, a pair of two players, playing careers that compliment the other to make a strong combo for roaming and slumming in SCs.

Prolly mean small scale (2-6 man group).

Normally you take a healer and a good dps, sometimes a tank to make a trio, and then you roam in rvr zones (with aao if possible).

If you have a competent dps player you can make lots and lots of renown and tokens.
