"The Server Has Closed Your Connection"

Hi all,

It's been many years since I played Age of Reckoning and was very pleased to hear about this project I just had to try it out!

After downloading the torrent and installing the game, I made my first character(Chosen) and everything was running well for about 2 hours or so until I reached Nordland, after reaching the main camp in Ravenraod I started accepting all available quests in sight, but when I spoke to one quest giver(Svythlyn the marked) who said something about joining a battle in the Blighted Isles I was suddenly disconnected with the message "The Server Has Closed Your Connection".


Now everytime I try to log in I get this error message, sometimes I manage to actually get into the game then after a few seconds the server disconnects me again. My internet appears to be running fine and my firewall is set up to accept RoR(I even tried to disconnect it to see if that was any better).

Would very much appreciate some help on this matter.

Looks like the server is currently offline. Seemed like there were stability issues over the weekend and they may be conducting maintenance. Hope this helps!

The server is currently offline - so likely this is causing the error trying to get in.

Thank you for the replies.

The server was up when I was having the issue, but I have now resolved it (Deleted the cache folder).

This seems to have fixed it!

The server isn't up right now.

The server is currently down at the moment.

But if you are having this issue when it is up I did the following:

-Close Return of Reckoning
-Go into your Return of Reckoning folder
-Locate "cache" folder
-Delete "cache" folder
-Reload RoR launcher and log back into game

This seemed to work for me.

I to am having the same issue and have deleted cache folder, tried changing client from 64 to 32 as well. Still boots me saying removed from server
