Returning Old Timer

Former DAoC and War player just now finding out about RoR. Those were my all-time favorite mmos. I played War almost until the time the servers went down. I was going back to school at that time to switch from IT to Healthcare. Turns out I'm actually going back to school now for a promotion. So my online time is a little limited. I'm excited to have found this server.

DAoC - I played as Galadan, Cernan, and Corander. I mostly played on the PvP server constantly rolling new toons to maximize our Mag Mell low level pvp fun. My mains were an Enchanter and Pally. I used to powerlevel friends on the frontier curms with my enchanter. We could level up a new toon in a matter of hours.

War - I played as Ghern (Engi) and Halfhand (WP.) It's been so long since I've played War but nothing since that time has filled the urge. FFXIV was fun but it was no War.

So here I am now back on Order. I decided to go Order since the server page always shows Destro with an advantage on numbers. I have mostly played rdps and healers in past games. The exception would be ffxiv where I got tired of pickup tanks that couldn't do their job. Reading the forums it looks like Order might have a need for mdps. I created a WL and Slayer but as I will probably mostly be solo and pickup groups until I finish school slayer seemed less than the optimal choice. Got my WL to 20 and made a RP, SM, and BW because I can't make up my mind. I thought there was a lack of healers. So the RP is up to 16 now. T1 is odd at the moment. There is a such an influx of new players due to quarantine. One minute I'll see no healers and the next I'd be in a scenario with almost all healers. I can't really decide which to stick with atm. Maybe I'll get all to 20 and try to decide. Seems possibly more a lack of tanks and mdps than anything.

Say Hi...most of my toons names end with "guts." Gatoguts (WL) and Lowguts (RP)
If you have an advice on which toon would be best I'll take it.

From what I've seen on Order, tanks are the most severely lacking - especially the ones that use guard. Destro is so melee heavy that from my point of view we do need more tanks. But we can't have enough slayers though ha.
