Capturing an RVR area

Hi

Sorry if this is obvious but can someone clarify what you have to do to capture an RVR area to receive the influence bonus.

I've been in the emp area when it happened but couldn't quite understand how it happened

I captured all the objectives in the dwarf area but nothing happened -no earthquake, no bonus.
(I killed the mobs, waited to secure the objective then moved to the next one)

Am I missing something?

Thanks

It was at the end.

At the beginning of WAR for a long time it was like now + you had to do PQs for Zone Lock (not possible now).

i hope the pq thing never returns ^^

actually i also would favor "take bos and hold for x minutes" locks the zone.

I would have liked to completly separeate sc and orvr from each other. 1 strong premade can make impossible to lock that way. Also a lock timer should be added: after x min if you controll all the zone bo+keeps, that's lock. PQ had the same problem hope they will never return to influence the VP bar.

Bo+keep+skirmish are alredy what should be required to lock a zone. You need to be prenset and spend time in a zone to lock and not doing sc and then leech the lock, that's why ppl fast leveling.
That said that way ppl would only spend time in orvr that's why they put sc into accoutn for vp..... still 1 strong premade can prenvet the lock. Add a timer it's just a easy solution. You know war40k tabletop game last 5-6 turn. After that you count your vp from you objective. After 15 min if i controll the zone it's my right to have an auto lock. This was introduces before 1.4.0 patch ( but was like 1-2 h...) and i hope we will see it again.

even worse Tesq: enemy was able to prevent the lock by NOT queuing SC. This was the worst design i ever saw in a mmo.
