Greetings,
I'm looking for someone knowing the state of the game at endgame for the following.
Would like to know the pro's and con's of the 3 Order tanks in general and in their 2h spec.
Which one does have the most damage output? Which one brings what on the table? What can I expect about each of the classes?
The aesthetics of the Kotbs does appeal me the most. But I read a multiple times that the kotbs have the most boring gameplay and that he hit like a wet noodle. His only purpose is to be an aurabot.. Is that true?
Thanks all!

Re: Most interesting 2h tank gameplay
BO/BG/SM in terms of 2h play.
Knight is just a buff/gurad bot in eaither 2h or snb.
IB is decent solo'er but now isnt really a great times for solo tank experience, especially because most tanks focus on outlasting their opponents wich means long fights. But the longer fight goes the more possible its gonna be interrupted by other people.
SM is obv choice if you want to go 2h tank order only.

I have seen all tanks wreck people 2handed. You just need gear.
Not sure the Chosen/kotbs mechanics. From what I see, they are most "vanilla" but i have never been one. The primary mechanic is aura. I have seen kotbs doing damage as 2hander (maybe that was before a nerf or something or those players have stopped).
BG/IB have hate/grudge, so you actually become stronger the longer you are fighting.
BO/SM have weird combo style play where you are kind of forced into a rotation.

Don’t listen to other people. KotBS can be a good class to roll for most of your time in RoR. Most organized city wbs are constantly looking for knights to fill their ranks, unlike IB and SW. Early on damage output is low and negligible. Later, as you get the higher tier gear like vanquisher and onwards and subjugator weapons, you’ll find you can dish out a good amount of damage when properly specced for it.
My final 2c is try all three out until at least level 16. You should know by then whether or not you like playing that particular class.

Re: Most interesting 2h tank gameplay
People want KotBS in cities for their passive auras, no build time or gimmicks to worry about. And then you better have snb, maaaybe one 2h for crit debuff. Basically, like healers, you go snb your whole career until you get end-game BIS for damage and then swap and abandon your mates who have counted on your steadfastness this whole time.

He asked for interesting and all you guys suggest is an aura bot.

Pertaining to the pros and cons of playing a 2H Swordmaster the most effective manner in which I can answer your question is expressed in this video. The fights featured are all One v. One or One v. Two encounters captured while solo-roaming. In my opinion 2H Swordmasters and 2H or S&B Black Orcs are the most well-suited tank classes to avail themselves of the most enjoyable aspect of playing this game, running solo through the lakes looking for a fight. There are two fights featured here between me as a 2H SM and a 2H specced Black Orc. Good stuff.

Yes, perhaps a bit of video self-promotion but it is a good video, it was fun to make the fights were fun to go out and find and I hope you find useful information within.

Re: Most interesting 2h tank gameplay
I’d say SM is probably the most interesting 2hand tank of them all. Does magical damage and actually has a mechanic which can be charming or tedious. Knights fun but leaves you wanting and IB is fun too but I think a lot of the charm of IB comes from more experienced players so if you’re starting out and asking questions like this, try out SM

Re: Most interesting 2h tank gameplay
BG has the most tools at its disposal. Having played all the tanks this is the only one I would consider grinding 80+. If you want dmg BO / SM is the best. Chosen and Knight are the least complex and easiest to play + do the worst dmg.
Re: Most interesting 2h tank gameplay
The most interesting would be ib/bg cause u actually have to learn to manage your grudge/fury and to manage your buff/debuff in order to do something. The most effective would probably be bo/bg/sm imho if your are looking for something that can kill stuff. And bo/sm if you looking to something that can also be useful as a tank in wb setup. At the end of the story any tank can do good in 2h in the hand of a good player.Ive seen 2h chosen with same damage and kills as 2h bo.The only difference is burst potential but any tank can do good with the right rr and gear.
