ASW do I need strength?

A stupid question maybe, but anyway

Asault stance tooltip says

Your range prowes item stats will count towards your melee prowess in 1 to 1 conversion respectively.

Does it mean I can just stack up ballistic and it will count towards strength?

Would be cool to have good damage in range and melee with the same stat.

you can hover over your buff when you switch to see what specifically changes but when you are in assault stance you get all your +ballistics skill added to your strength as well as your ballistic skill. You also get a flat str and weaponskill buff from the stance as well.


Also armor talis will double up while in assault stance.

Yup, don't go for strenght just ballistic in early state...
Late game with better gear you will slot Armor/WS cuz your Main stat should be high enough.
Just remeber, your BS tactic wont give you strenth

Renown points dont convert either, only from gear. And yes you need a lot of str to do dmg and not get parried.
