Items "disappearing" is a common bug. Either wait for server restart, or if necessary hotfix to resolve it.

We cannot recover lost items, as it'll take up too much of our time which can be better spent on other things.

What is kinda strange to me, that people seem to have that issue since a few months and i just had it twice (first time 2 weeks ago) I had been just luck or is there a deeper sense behind it? ^^

Somehow i had a strange feeling also. Some of my toons look immune to it, while my WH get hitted hard every time by this bug. Havent been able to play it since the patch, as long as everytime i feel like, i see in the character screen that the weapons are gone.
