Launcher Download

I just finished download the 11gb torrent file and am running the RoRLauncher.exe after extracting the files. I am currently at 3/747 file download and 1 take around 10 minutes. Is this normal? Because if it is, I sure am not going to keep my computer on for months for this.

Only the first couple files of the 700ish are large, it'll speed up.

I too have installed the game but the RoRupdater has about 170000 files to download. After running for 12hrs, I'm only at 6145 files downloaded. Is this right?
Maybe I should have just clicked on RoRLauncher instead of the updater?
