What is the purpose of boosting/weaking attack speed?

I ask this because of choppas Get Stuck In ability; i just dont see the value of it and i wish to know what purpose it serves.

Most of the combat from what i see in WAR is done using ability's so what purpose does boosting yours or your grps AA speed serve? Perhaps this is something that becomes useful in later tiers because right now i dont feel the impact that a 1m cooldown ability should have compared to the slayer's Gudrun's warcry

Well AA speed has a pretty big impact on the DPS of WH and especially WEs in later stages of the game. Besides all AAs procc stuff like Frozen Touch or the DoK covenants, which also can add up to quite some damage.

Edit: And also be aware that , as long youre not channeling any attacks, your AAs will always strike besides you using your normal skills!

Autoattack is a big portion of your damage as melee. I remember on my WL, about 50% of my damage came from autoattacks.

Well back when lotd aa speed proc stacked with wh aa tactic you didn't need to use abilitys to kill someone. weapon dps will help you burst people down more free hits the more damage.

lotd aa speed taliys stopped stacking with tactic and they don't stack together when the aa taliys used to stack giving insane amounts of AA speed.
