I can imagine, that the rules are: to be "nice in general" and that i have the possibility to ignore toxic players.
But what to do, if a player really goes over the top, like it happened last time in a scenario? Is there a report function? And because it is a private project: do the devs even have the time to handle this??
Pls don't misunderstand me, i am not a player who reports every single bit and ****, but some things are really nogo.

Report Msg option by right clicking guy writing crap in chat window. And yes, toxicity is burnt at stakes here.

Re: Question regarding toxic players
We have a team of people dedicated to getting rid of toxic people. Find a GM on the forums, or on Discord, or use the report function in-game.

Right click the name in chat > report. You can also mute other players which should always be your first choice.
Re: Question regarding toxic players
I don't think that muting or ignoring a toxic player is a good reaction. It doesn't send a message to that person that they should change their antisocial behaviour. Reporting can do that. And don't forget to make screenshots as the GMs might need them for proof.saupreusse wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2020 10:46 am Right click the name in chat > report. Funny side note: I haven't ignored anyone yet. But I have been put on ignore by some toxic players that couldn't handle someone suggesting to them to maybe calm down a bit. These people are hilarious

I should have reported some of them, but either forgot to take screens in time or it happened in discord.

Re: Question regarding toxic players
I just want to add that you might have a misconception of what developers do; they implement content, do content changes, updates, etc.. That being said, they aren't involved in player reports as there's a whole other team (Game Masters) that should get the credits for keeping the community safe and healthy.
Maybe that's obvious for older players but I wanted to clarify it specifically for you since you asked if developers have the time to take care of player reports, which obviously they don't because they have other overwhelming stuff to take care of.

Just laugh at them and add them to your ignore list if they bother you

LOL no it's not. It's the same system as anyother: ban whoever gets the biggest army of false flags and not even bother to look at what was reported. Ignore how people abuse reporting things they don't like or disagree with and ban, ban, ban.

Re: Question regarding toxic players
They don't listen to new ideas that challenge anything like the population; take the scenario trashstorm for example: Most of the players are Order. Most of Order make premades knowing they will faceroll any Destro group due to Destro's lower numbers. Order laughs all the way to the metaphorical bank, which ruins the fun for Destro, but if the team decided to take action like: Restricting group que to other groups to fight, and let solo's face solo's....that might make the Order cry and flood the forums with how this game sucks and they''re leaving.zwieselchen wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2020 10:23 am I can imagine, that the rules are: to be "nice in general" and that i have the possibility to ignore toxic players.

Everyone involved in this game are toxic and sad manbabies. They don't quite understand the world outside of the internet and their phones. If they can't tap or swipe it, they are helpless.
