SW or Slayer

Hi Guys,

I tried almost all characters (leveled each of class for 20-30lvl range mostly on sc's) in order to pick properly.

Finally only two classes left: Slayer and SHadow Warrior. Both are totally diefferent but i love both of them. Anyway i want to pick one.

Can U suggest which class will be better in the future on higher levels? I play mostly solo with pugs but i know how to cooperate so i am not typicall WH :P:P

Any suggestions will be so much appreciated :)

well I am not a superpro but ppl says "metaa" in cities is slayers as dps while SW are just brought 1 or 2 max. Me personally i love ranged chars so i suggest ya a shadow warrior, but , ofc, feel free to test both and get em both to 40.

Pick them both. You cannot go wrong. Then when you hit 40, re-assess the situation.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RoR: SW 82, AM Heal RR51
AoR: SW R87, BW/R60+, SM/40+, AM/R50+, WL/R60+, Slayer R40+, DoK/SH/Sorcerer R40+ (+others)

Slayer all the way. Its the best MDPS on Order and MDPS win fights, especially Slayer AoE. SW is a bad class that is just too squishy for not being the best at either AoE or ST. BW is a better RDPS option and Engi is the better ST ranged specialist. Ranged SW is pure trash.

Leave the elf on the shelf and roll a proper Dwarf!
Brynnoth Goldenbeard (40/75) (IB) -- Rundin Fireheart (40/50) (RP) -- Ungrinn (40/40) (Engi)-- Bramm Bloodaxe (40/83) (Slayer) and a few Empire characters here or there, maybe even an elf.

Slayer is the best mdps on order atm but for group play, if you want to have something that can find easier groups and organised warbands pick slayer if you want to go solo pug gameplay SW might give you more opportunity because its ranged and can kite in rvr
Destruction: 40-BG / 40-DoK / 40-Chosen / 37-Mara / 37/Sorc / 36-SH / 36-Choppa / 24-Shaman / 16-WE
Order: 40-SW / 40-SM / 40-WP / 40-WL / 39-Kotbs / 38-BW / 33-AM / 22-WH / 16-RP / 12-Slayer

one thing i understood is that Melee dps need always babysitting: for example i am testing WL (aoe speccced) and got good survival and, in case of need, with lion i can roam easily solo and survive a bad meeting. Slayers (like choppa ofc) have no means to survive. Their survial comes from constant heals and guard of a tank. That said slayer can make disasters when babysitted. Is a little frustrating playing it on pug though.

that healing is pathetic believe me it wont save you in any situation... consider many (if not all) dps classes got means to 50%healdebuff on top of the fact that you are basically a naked dorf asking for death...
shall it impede you to play slayer? NO!!! you simply need babysitting! so be sure to run guild wb and scenarios as much as you can because in pug hardly you get any babysitting at all!
