Slow manticore?

I was one of the first to have an Enslaved Manticore, I hardly used the mount as it is way too big. It looks fun on my squigherder though. But it seems the manticore is slower than the 100gold mounts. The few times I use the manticore other mounts always overtake me. Or are there faster mounts in the game?

The mounts should all be capped at +59%, even if the tooltip says 60% or 70%. What speed stats come up when you get on the mount and do .getstats? If it's 1.59 then it's working as intended, if it's less than that then it probably needs to go on the bug tracker.

I believe the preferred term is 'Special Needs Manticore'.

type .getstats while mounted and targeting yourself to find out what your speed is, it is capped at 159% total.
