Thinking to return to ror

Hi all! Can't remember last time i played ror; my account is created back in 2016 but last time i played i remember servers have some serious lag issues during rvr's and world pvp. Lately i'm longing for some battleground/scenario action so it really doesn't matter if things got better or not tbh just curious. What you guys think? Should i create a fresh character and jump on to bg queues to feed my hunger?

The game is truly in a golden age right now. The devs have done an admirable job of fixing the bugs, correcting the exploits and improving the game in all respects. Despite all the bitching class/rvr and gear balance is the best its ever been.

Some hidden areas have even been released and LOTD is coming soon. I'd certainly come back and give it a try.
