New Player.. so lost
I just hit level 15 on a Slayer. Where can I find a class guide? I am not sure I am even using the right skills. Also, should I just be hanging out at RvR zones while I wait for SC's to pop up? Not really sure what I am supposed to be doing at this point lol.

Hello, for now you can do 3 thing:
Level up in ORVR: Just join WB and follow your leader. If you do that, buy the 50% speed horse a 10 gold I think.
Level up in scenario: Just click to join scenario like in the very begining.
Level up in PVE: Do PVE quest. Just check on your map if you have the good level to do the quest.
You can do that until you hit level 40.
I wish i can help you!

Once you hit 16, start playing ORvR and SC's. It'll help you get used to the core of the game. And yes, if you find a SC group normally people will roam as a 6 man and then join SC's when they pop. Just don't do it if you join a WB.

Check the class section of the forum, there should be at least a couple guides for every class. Slayer rampage aoe damage is meta right now so you'll be fine.
Make sure your gear is updated, including at least green talismans. You can either buy the rvr or sc sets in the war quarters in Altdorf with crests or do the sewer dungeon (preferred, save your crests).
Don't pve unless you love it, you want to shoot for at least rr 50 by the time you hit 40. Even doing a lot of scenarios might level too fast. Enjoy 16-39 or reroll and try other classes in t1. Once you hit 40 you will get owned by geared players for a while, be patient and follow the blob until you get better gear. Do level 40 dungeons and save your crests for vanquisher (competitive) and Sovereign (end game) sets in rvr, imo the two best sets for most classes.

As has been suggested once you get out of Tier One focus on ORVR and SC's. The SC bracket at that level is tailored for players below Rank 40, and can be a good source of Renown. Combine that with riding the Warband Wave and you can level relatively quickly.
This video has a few years on it, however much of it is still valid. It details my efforts in leveling through the lower tiers in regard to fighting, gaining gear, and process. The central issue you bring up is addressed during the Scenario replay segments, starting around the eight minute mark or so, but I would also suggest you click to the 17:50 mark and watch the next few minutes. The information there may prove useful.
Good luck, and if you need ten gold to buy a horse contact Karisanna in game and I will donate to your cause.

I would also say that most people in game are helpful. If you see a slayer that seems to be doing really well, ask them their build / setup etc.

Pure curiosity, feel free to answer this honestly, no one will judge you (more like a "feature test").
