I found the classic straw that broke the camels hump a lot of the fan boys who were struggling on paying subs after 100,000's already left months before.

With Elves gutted previously to this interview, and I was one, and it was the greatest fall to grace of any class in any MMO game ever. Mythic's broad sweeping changes were a theme during it's downfall, constantly throwing massive broad sweeping changes in which were hardly tested. I actually made a video post-nerf showing it was still okay, but honestly it was tough as hell. I ended up deleting mine and re-rolled a runie w/ same name.

Actually they literally were. This vid destroyed so much server population I remember it like it was yesterday.

WH's getting repel blasphemy so a 5 sec parry + 5 sec disarm + 7 sec morale 1 Confusing Moments chains.

Warrior Priest Dark Promise detaunt skill stacking with aoe detaunt for 100% damage immunity( -1, -1, -1 bug)
WL with 150 foot pull
BW healing debuff stacking with all others, detonate doing 5x intended damage
KOTBS ranged purging of 3 shaman enchantments (hots) making them useless
Slayers Inevitable Doom
1001 blessing rotating
Witch Elf kisses un-mitigated
Bane Shield having no hidden cooldown
Disorients stacking on buildups
Pit of Shade/RoF stacking
Rift stacking victims to same spot so collision kept them stuck

Just looking at my first WE video before the nerf, wow. The quality is crap, but if anyone is curious, watch me kill Petra the runie at 3:17 in just about 1 global cooldown. She was the #2 runie on the server (willpower stacker).

I killed Ludvik the #1 runie on the server at 1:55, in 3 globals, and he was all toughness and armor build. Just watch the global cooldown timers.

I knew a lot of this. But some stuff I didn't know.
Kinda agree with paul barnett thou on a lot of his talking points. The mentality that he talks about still persists. It exists in all mmo's though. But there was also a crap ton that needed to be fixed.

Nice you bring up 1001 blessing rotating because I run into discussions where people dismisses its viability when I remember it being kinda a big deal back in the day.

Its funny because you got like the new generation of people that have their way of thinking and what can be done. Then you got the old generation of people that played through all this stuff.

he's soooo right when it comes to the sequence of what the ppl are fighting and how they're behaving vs opposition and other classes ;p happens in every game, and it does happen coz the mmo crowd has grown into a mass of spoiled brats that want their happy meal NOW
