Playing MSH, why blamming me ?

Hello,

I came back on the game 2 weeks ago, RR 58 MSH.

I played MSH since first day in official, i was playing in top 1 French Guild in RVR, i was usefull there. Hard but usefull.

When i play here, people insult me when i enter SC. For real.
"MSH is trash, don't come here"
"MSH is useless, no usefull damage"
"MSH have no interest, just bouncing, woaaa"

My build is pretty decent, 1.5% crit ( gonna reduce to lower soon with sufficient Crest )

What can i do to not be insulted and play the class i always cherished and came for...

The most important part is if the way u playing the game is fun to u, if it is then dont care what others say!

To some extent, it's a true that mSH isn't the best thing to play on sc.

Why? Because mSH (like loner WL) lacks ST damage to be on the par with the rest of real dps and, therefore, limits your party (if you have any) ST killing potential. That means that if you can't overwhelm your enemy's healers with aoe damage (its possible when playing against pug or weak premades) you are kinda useless since, by yourself, you don't even possess a damage worth of good healer's detaunt.

Its not like this fact stops people from playing like this though(that aoe WL premade...still doing sc, still terrible against any half-decent premades). And yes, if its sc for 3 parties you have a better chance to be useful (since AoE is good if you have a lot of enemies, obviously).

Don't worry btw, you are still better than any dps healer on your sc (since you are at least trying to do your job).

that pretty much sounds like premade vs premade scenario which rarely ever happens. i also play msh and most times i get the extra crest for most dmg and killing blows.... so complaining here is really odd.
just ignore these people, most times they lack themselfes

You get titles for putting a number of people on ignore. Just see them as supporters to reach those achievments.

I would recommend playing scenarios with horned squig to combat the lack of ST dmg.

RoR.builders - Squig Herder

Combining Squigbeast (m1) and squig frenzy with bad gas, big claw and git em! + big bouncing gives you actually pretty hefty burst.

Edit: with chop fasta choppa your damage output is completely fine in loner spec too. And yes like others pointed out, ignore the haters.

Feels like WL (but worse). No +50% crit, and the only thing to compensate this is +15% damage. Thus, the only moment when you actually pose a threat (sort of) is when you pop M1+squig frenzy. Btw your pet gonna die the moment something looks at him (or just from random aoe if its melee pet). Its no like it matters that much for SH though(unlike WL).

Still, i don't think its a good competitive choice (but, its not like we are forced to play competitive everytime, my 2h SM can't fit into this too because there is no place for a tank without long knockback).

tbh i would not recommend using a pet in SC, it dies too fast. just got with sneaky bouncin and all by meself tactic and you put out enough dmg
