Well it depends on what you want to do, i have played both classes so if their is anything particualr you want to know please feel free to ask me

First off both are strong but from a grp perspective bg is defiantly stronger b/c it has better grp utility in single target buffs to str, tough, ws and cc like superpunt and the longest kd in the game, both of which blorc kinda lacks, when i played on live a lot of 6 mans who were looking a second tank after a chosen always snubbed me on my blorc in favor of a bg

Now dmg wise blorc can do good dmg due to the gork crit tactic but bg has a lot of very strong debuffs is all around versatile with a lot of viable and useful abilities and unlike blorc has an out going heal debuff for 20 seconds with soul killer and ap cost increaser ability with choking fury both of which really frustrates ordos healers and makes them very salty

While blorc can be very strong in the earlier parts of the game it falls off in comparison to chosen and bg and with shield of rage and heals from feeding on weakness bg can be just as durable as blorc espically right now when the class can easily reach the toughness soft cap with terrifying foe

With the game being the way it is progressing towards how it was on live then i would say hands down BG > Blorc

If, when and how blorc might be buffed down the line by az then then bg = blorc

Mainly how each one performes in the higher tiers and their strengths and weaknesses, I don't want to waste time leveling one up and realising they suck further on

I am pretty sure right now and in T4 6 mans want Chosen>BG>BO

I can tell you why chosen is #1, but you will probably need someone else to tell you why BG>BO in t4. As of right now on the server in T2 I am pretty sure BG is better than BO in 6 mans thanks to 6? second KD and good armor/toughness debuffs. BO is more of a DPS tank I think, and people don't pick up tanks for groups to DPS.

Also just because chosen is better than BG doesn't mean you run 2 of them in a group, usually 1 chosen and 1 BG for the tank roles.

This is of course all in the scope of 6 mans, and has nothing to do w/ ORvR or 1v1 etc...

Please... Not another AoE punt spammer...
In all seriousness though, the 5sec KD on the BG right now gives you an advantage over the BO, even while not having a punt (and BO punt is pretty short, anyway). And that detaunt tactic the BG gets is great for harassing healers.

As the tiers progress BG scales better and better because of the versatility where as blorcs fall off more and more because most of blorcs dmg is bursty with crits but Trivial blows nerfed the effectiveness of crit stacking and the plan mechanic of blorcs kinda limits their abilities but most of all it was their lack of cc, Blorcs have to spec for their 3 sec kd that requires them to put a wopping 14 points into a tree that has no other good abilites while with 100 hate and block ( both of which are easy to get with a guard) you get the longest kd in the game, further more bgs m2 away cretins is an aoe knockback, you also get a super punt than unlike other tanks that have punt dont need a tactic to turn it from a punt>super punt.

Like i had said earlier Bgs are very survivable they can self heal with feeding on weakness (it might not seem very strong now but wait till you see how much you self heal on crits), dmg absorption with shield of rage, their m1 banish weakness is basically cleansing wind and is amazing at trolling casters who think that your dead cause they just put their entire rotation of dots on you and furthermore because of this you can essentially have 2 cleansing winds

Late game a bg with a few nice heals can be essentially unkillable because they also have have high block and parry rates from elite training and rr points, ive seen Dok + BG 2 v 6 and win back on live

Because BG is a tank with an offensive focus with an emphasis on harassing and killing casters and healers late game BG can reach almost complete magic immunity through its high will power and disrupt chance and not to mention the amazing synergy between shielding anger tactic and endless pursuit

Most 6 mans on destro always ran 1 chosen + 1 bg + 1 choppa and mara and DoK + 1 healer

The willpower buff on crushing blow was espically great for Doks, as well as str + tough buffs which were also great on your mdps

BG is just all around better but let me warn you right now BG is not a lolz mdps class so for gods sake dont use glaives dps with SnB

if you want to know more like spec and stuff for the classes just ask

It really is

BUT the problem is late game in t4 back on live ap regen potions make ap cost increasers kinda point less, the same with abilities like choppa keep on choppin become unnecessary and use less

It will remain to be seen to how potions will be implemented in RoR

Unlike ordo who could run in 6 mans either 2 kotbs or 1 kotbs + 1 ib running 2 chosens in a 6 man is very ineffective hence while chosen is a great aura tank simply b/c use the usefulness to a grp running chosen + bg is better hence why bg has its place

Two Chosen in a group is overkill, I agree. BG is the clear choice in T4; however, as the game sits now, both are viable. Lets hope that as the next two tiers are implemented, no class gets left too far behind to constitute exclusion from a group.
