I have probably 12 hours of leading open warbands over the last two weeks, with 2 Warband Leader's Marks to show for it. Yes, I've read the rules.
But the rewards are crap. How about some unique dyes, capes, titles? 30day mounts, bonus renown pots don't mean anything to most people over RR 80.
That's all. See you Friday night.

Agree! Only two marks for 12 hours of leading open wb, and only two points, how does that make sense? I also lead wb but only have such a small number of these tokens, how many hours do you need to play to get ten of these marks?!

From what I can tell it's 6h of wb lead time where you are getting rr every 15 mins for 1 mark.
I've talked to a few very regular WB leads that still only have like 3 marks since the update came out.
It's a real shame as the idea definitely reignited a desire to keep leading for me.
A fantastic idea but very poorly implemented in It's current state.

We recently added all the reward tier requirements onto the Wiki here:
https://wiki.returnofreckoning.com/Warb ... r%27s_Mark
If leading a public warband, and assuming all the requirements to earn points are met, it should be about 24 points per hour, or just under 2 hours to hit the first reward tier.
We've noticed some bugs since the last patch that are clearly not marking players as active in an RvR lake for AAO, so if people have noticed reduced marks on this Monday's payout, that may have a big impact on it. The team is looking into fixing AAO right now, which should also fix the point checks if the same bug was preventing them.
Happy to hear some thoughts on the kinds of specific things players would like to see added in - Capes and Titles are already on the list for the future, but curious to hear what kinds of dyes people would like to see or what other cosmetic-focused bonuses interest you. Likewise, we'll continue to listen and see if players feel the time to payout ratio feels fair or if it's a bit too high at the moment.

I dont lead any warbands and cba about current state orvr beside small scale roam, but im bloody damn sure that you guys cant accomplish this exact part
I have alot of experience with this game and seen some s**t, just based on it i can say that 5 minutes is nothing. Literally 1 wipe/release is enough for you to reset all the progress. This has to be updated for at least 10-15 minutes so the system will work and you gonna get your toptier rewards for 6h+ spend leading pug warbands.
Warband Leader must have earned Renown in the past 5 minutes

So I think it must be this 5 min timer that is causing issues. That really is no time when you consider how often a WB needs to pause to fill a spot, do relogs, switch zone, wait for a ram at the keep etc etc. If that is resetting the whole hour of progress it's not too much of a surprise that people are getting so few marks.Rubius wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 9:51 am We recently added all the reward tier requirements onto the Wiki here:

For me, cosmetics are a huge driving force to keep playing and look forward to what you have planned with that.
Another great thing would be soulstones for the jewelry talismans and the weekly event item box that you can get for an influence reward. As a wb lead, the chances and desire to do pve for the soulstones are quite low. Adding these would be a good use for the currency without making them overly powerful.
Perhaps a box of 24 tallies like the ch22 rewards?
A unique, permanent mount would be the most interesting reward for me.

100% this. Rewards like renown pots might be attractive to some, especially newer players. But I can hardly see how any dedicated warband leader (including the regular, well-known PUG leaders), would be interested in this, considering most of them don't really need the RR anymore.
