[Chosen] is Warlord Set still worth buying?

Wasn't sure what is meta in ranked solo / 6's and I have to grind a bunch of ranked tokens for triumphant.

Evasive proc worth it at 5 seconds now?

Thanks!

Warlord is good for 6v6 because the 8pc has a granted ability that drains morale. Outside of that it is of limited use. It used to be better for multiple pieces of content outside of just 6v6 but the nerf to the proc and the nerf to weapon skill hurt its power level. WS nerf means you get less parry from it than before and it still leaves you lacking a lot of wounds, toughness and armor in exchange for less useful stats like WS. The 7pc detaunt proc has the potential to good if you are facing ranged-heavy opponents but due to the nerf it received and the other issues with itemization on the set (WS/armor pen on a class that deals spirit damage) I don't think the set is very worth it anymore.

The strongest use case for this set now is purely in 6v6. The other good part about the set is it is really cheap. Since ranked is more or less dead now as far as the average player is concerned, I'm not sure there's a huge reason to buy this set on chosen over the alternatives like 5offsov/4vic, 4tri/3defsov/2offsov, 4tri/2vic/2bloodlord, etc. depending on what kind of content you plan on playing 2h in.

Imo it's a lot better of an idea to just go standard 5offsov/3vic and then pick which ring you want and go from there. Vic ring for 5offsov/4vic full offensive build or tri ring for 4tri mixes for full tanky/utility based gameplay like kite groups and roaming.

I say all of this as someone who was baited in to buying full Warlord on 2 tanks right before it was nerfed and before ranked died and regretting it a bit because there are definitely better options out there for non-ranked gameplay.

I also bought warlord on my Chosen right before the nerf and really regret it.

I appreciate your response. I went ahead and bought a few Sov piece instead. Thanks again!
