Hey. I haven't played for 4 years. I have Warrior Priest nan 40 level. Is it worth returning to the game at level 40 after such a long time? Is it better to start from the beginning/?
Will I be cannon fodder if I have equipment from 4 years ago?

Re: Question after 4 years
I don't think you'll have many issues with gear, it's still teh same stuff.
You might get hit with a problem with wards. You are now required to complete an entire ward (tier of gear) before you're allowed to equip anything from the next tier. There have been a fair few people returning after some time off who happen to be missing 1 bit of gear from a previous tier, which means they now can't wear their best stuff.
That problem is usually pretty quick to rectify - just buy the missing piece - but if u don't have any crests to buy it, you might suffer for a short amount of time.
Beyond that, the main thing is just gonna be remembering how to play your class and the game in general. Whenever I've taken a break, when i come back i just look up latest recommended builds, spec into that build, then I go spend 30-60minutes doing PvE so I can remember my keybinds and priorities. That's usually enough to make me comfortable playing my class, and I can just pick up the finer details as I go from there.
Good luck on your return!

Yes.

Given the current state of the game your level is irrelevant in regard to the fact you will, at times, get rolled by the opposition. It is simply the nature of the beast therefore don't worry about it.
