Shaman or Arcchmage?

As a new player I was hesitate between Shaman and Archmage . The playsile is similar which I like . Your opinion which can be a bit better vs other classes? I am newbie so every comment welcome! Cheers

If you plan to play solo, both are OK. But it's not a solo game so prepare yourself to be killed by 2, 6, 12, 24 or even 72 people at the same time. We love to roll on solo kiritos

Shaman better and smarter and..... playing as Shaman you joing a Good guys. And fighting agains evil Order.

If you are new you have a couple of things you can think about in regards of your choice.
Everything mentioned is purely objective and comes from my own perspective.

Playstyle

• Solo RvR roam: Archmage holds an edge over Shaman due to having an anditional dot and due to the recent nerf of burst dmg

• small scale RvR: equally good

• large scale RvR: equally good

• Scenarios: equally good

• All of it: Archmage because of solo roam potential

Difficulty and Progression

• Leveling: You will feel like a God choosing either class

• Mid Game: Still both very strong and competative

• Fresh 40: If you are new, you will be a victim if you play alone

• Endgame: Both very strong healers with the highest skillsceiling and potential to pump out the highest raw healing numbers in the game(requires very good decisionmaking and concentration to rotate the class mechanic perfectly)

Style

• Archmage: You run around in a white dress, you either embrace feeling like a princess or you dont.

• Shaman: GREEN

• Order: Relatively mild Armor varients in comparison to Destro

• Destro: Recieved more love from the Age of Reckoning design team and has way more bulky armor varients than Order

Enemy Faction

• Archmnage: You encounter "easier" classes to fight in a pure 1v1 environment. As well as the fact, that you beat equaly geared and skilled Shamans.

• Shaman: You encounter classes that are harder to fight as a shaman in 1v1.

Grouping and RvR Environment

• Order: Order sticks more together in pug environments than Destro. So you will have more roamers to flee to or play around

• Destro: Destro seems to have fewer roaming premades, or has solo roamers on the RvR lakes

• General: In general you will be a victim to every small scale group as a solo roaming Archmage or Shaman, because you give nice Renown.

Future

• A Healer rework is supposed to happen soon, so everything stated might change completely
