Launcher doesn't seem to connect.

I downloaded the client from the torrent link, set it up with the launcher, and it won't connect.

The web server and login server indicators stay red and yellow, respectively, and the connect button is greyed out.

I can ping 178.32.58.46 with no issues, I'm running the launcher as an administrator, and the folder & files aren't set read-only. I tried VPN'ing to the UK, but no change. I've rebooted a few times, and tried just leaving the launcher open for a while, but nada. I don't run a firewall, and I whitelisted basically everything in the folder.

Any ideas?

I've found this same issue addressed a few times throughout the tech support forums, and I've tried the various fixes (to no avail), but it doesn't seem to show up in any of the stickies or anything?

Anyone had success in overcoming this problem?

No firewall, no antivirus, wired connection (not wireless), meet the system requirements, running windows 7, connect button is never available to click - like http://i.imgur.com/pp1NRu0.jpg

Been fiddling with it for a while now, but the issue remains; the RoR launcher doesn't seem like it's even attempting to connect up to the server. There's no network activity from the rorlauncher process showing up in my resource monitor, and I'm out of ideas.

I'm Having the same issue to no avail. button is greyed-out and they are red and yellow for me as well.

I've had the same problem for a few weeks and have tried everything I've read on the forums and I haven't been able to figure it out.

Problem is still persisting, anyone had success in overcoming this problem? Would really like to play WAR.

Right click and run as admin on the launcher. Might be something blocked on your router/modem too. Make sure port 8084 is open.

Forwarded 8084 to my pc, running the launcher as administrator, web server and login server still never change from red/yellow, connect still greyed out.

No firewall, no antivirus or anything running, but it's like the launcher isn't even trying to connect.

I am also having the same problem. It works on my wife's computer but on mine the button is greyed out and the indicators are red/yellow.
