What happened to keep sieges?

I remember when i started playing WAR and had my first sieges in T2/T3.

We would run in a coordinated WB, and the wb leader would have a full group (or 2) watching the postern doors. When enemies tried getting inside the keep they got ganked and had to respawn at their WCs. This made sieges much easier.

Now everytime there is a siege people just stand in front of the door and completely ignore any enemy reinforcements. By the time they get the door down there is a wb+ of enemies inside and a wipe usually follows.

TL;DR: Why u so bad, RoR players?

Some maps in T2 are awfully unbalanced, Empire/Chaos is Order sided, and Elf is Destro sided. As the keeps there are easier to defend for one side thanks to its position in relation to the warcamps. Drawf/GS is the most balanced map, but it is probably easier for destro to get to fang, than it is for order to get to DK.

The worst is mandreds, its almost impossible to keep order from pouring in without having like an entire warband or more watching the back, and when you kill them its just another 10 sec run back.

This is why black crag was my favorite T4 map, if you killed someone there where usually mad as hell because it meant a long ass run back.

I'm afraid the answer will be: "we iz just afklevelling, wtf, elitist prick".

Never ever we had warband without dedicated group intercepting everyone at postern.

I feel as imbalance happens quickly because of easy access to both sides. If destro has more people and is pushing, some people log off and play Destro and vice versa. Even if it is just a small portion, its substantial because it adds more to an already bigger side.

While you are right, too many times i look around and think to myself "Damn, server is lagging hard again, this is a huge spike" and while that happens sometimes, most of them its just people doesnt even move, i have seen engineer turrets with more mobility than many order warbands.

They dont seem to use the movement keys unless it is for panicking and running away.

Also everyone knows the best map is Praag.

Because the way things are rigt now, sieges are not fun; mdps has no role in seiges since bypass defenses dont work.
Then you have to deal with bombing, los abuse and AoE with no real rewards.
Furthermore RoR forces you to grind out sc crests for BiS weapons which sucks because i used to love scs but now i hate them, as im not playing for fun now and it feel like a chore
