SW Questions

SW is the last class that I am thinking of rerolling, but I would like to know what exactly I am getting into.

Is there a spec viable that is not built around festering arrow? SW seems like it has the same problem as engineer, in that it has no access to tactics or abilities (aside form its weak armor debuff) that increase its physical damage, and it has no crit damage multiplier to make critical chance scaling efficient.

Its gear also seems to be sort of defensive focused, trading things like crit for dodge, and wep skill for toughness. Which also seems really bad, what destro classes do you really get that much out of dodge for beside SH?

Does leading shots effect healing crit for group? If not this tactic also seems to be pretty bad to me since it won't be effecting one of the DPS in your group unless you are specifically running a 3-2-1 group.

I am also looking to make a shadow warrior and have not heard about the gear stats.

Not quite sure why anyone would put toughness or wounds on a long distance (Scout Line) class, but I guess that's how Mythic designed them.

You'll probably be one of the first ones targeted cos they're such a pain in the arse, I always go after them given the chance

I mean if you've played Squig Herder you can play it pretty much like that. Eagle Eye = better Plink. Stances are better than squigs.
Is this a shitpost? Let me know through personal message.

4th tactic of your choice. Ballistic, group crit or ap regen.
Dying is no option.

Pierce defenses seems like it is extremely strong, why ignore it?

Because it relies on your attacks not hitting in the first place which is not good imho and many other classes already have abilities that reduce those chances by 10% and stuf

You will miss either way, and it not a group restricted tactic. It effects everyone in your group and the other SC party. Granted it is only single target, it's still a huge damage buff for any physical dps/tank against a target that has high parry/block/dodge which is everything but healers?

what classes on order run the 10% reduction skills etc...? I know WH has a 5%? one they can spam. Knight has one but no one ever specs for it.

Leading shots is imo one of the best tactics of the class and iirc it affects all chance to be crit (also healcrit).
