launcher not responding

playing this game 5-6 months never had any issue
but tonite
im hitting connect on my launcher but nothing happening

hit connect, close launcher, launch game again.

lol so i JUST DL'd all of this, never even been in game yet, having this issue... so sad!!!!

i've tried a few times, one thing I'm noticing is that when i unset the read only, it seems to be resetting it to read only? here's what im doing...

right click folder, properties, unchecking the read only box, apply, and it applies it to all files and subfolders. i hit "ok" and exit the properties. but if i immediately right click and check the properties again, the dang read-only checkbox is checked again.

no clue if this has anything to do with it, or if anyone knows how to get around this IF it is the issue, but i'll check forums again tomorrow and see if yall got anything.
