For dps Blackguard sword and shield or spear?

I want to be a healer hunter, that can put out some nice dps but also take some damage, what set up will be better?

DPS spec’d black guard with SnB can do everything that a dps spec’d bg with a 2h can do with still having access to the longest knock down in the game and being more survivable

Basically everything 2h can do, SnB can do while being more surviveable, 2h is lackluster in the grand scheme of things and what you gain by going 2h doesn’t make up for what you loose

Its one of the great tragedies of the BG class

Except Knight of the Blazing sun went into battle with shields, Knights of the White Wolf and Knights Panther favoured Great Weapons. Black Guard and Sword Master should have heavy incentives for playing 2h spec.

Also Knight > Other Tanks.

knights are forced into the boring s/b tactic trifecta walking buff bot because they don't have any other options, you could argue that they need a better 2h spec even more than BG to pull them away from that meta.
