Live Event: Waking Day

The most important holiday in the Kislevite cult of Ursun is that of Waking Day. This holiday marks the start of spring, when Ursun and his children emerge from their hibernation. Though snow still blankets northern Kislev, and frost hangs in the air, the bears must be stirred from their slumber. Kislevites rush to the country side making noise to waken the bears, whether that be with pots and pans, horns and drums, or fireworks.
Waking Day is the key holiday of the Cult of Ursun celebrated across Kislev, and even among Kislevite descendants living in the northern fringes of the Empire. Join your realm in helping shake the chill of winter and welcome spring. Sound your horns, fire off fireworks, and battle to keep winter's icy dead fingers at bay.
Waking Day will start on March 13th and last until March 23rd.
Rewards
Basic reward: [Waking Day Horn]
Advanced reward: [Ursun Bear Cub], or [Winter Oblast Elk Fawn], or a [Kislevite Alcohol Sampler].
Elite reward: [Ursun Bear Saddle], or [Winter Oblast Elk Saddle], or for the magus a [Bound Snow Daemon] You can check out the mounts here and the magus discs here.
Spring Buffs
During the celebrations of Waking Day, players will be able to gather food for the slumbering bears by completing quests to either kill players or animals. Players will be rewarded with a basket of fish, or basket of meat, which they can give as an offering to the bears by placing them in an Offering Basket in their capital city. Once you have made an offering, you will be given a random 1 hour buff, or curse if the bears did not like your sacrifice.
Additionally, players will progress an action counter as they gain buffs, allowing them to earn unique Bear Claw trophies in six colors, which can be seen here
The Girl in Glass
There is an ancient tale that tells of a girl who was trapped in a glass coffin by Tzeentch, buried somewhere in Praag. She can only be awoken by a kiss, or so the legend goes (but why wake her up with a kiss when you can fire off a firework or blow a horn next to her - if it works on the bears...)
Travel to Martyr's Square in Praag to fight for the fate of the Girl in Glass as her sleeping body is put in danger by the death elemental Mardagg.
Hidden Quests, Hidden Rewards
Available only during Waking Day, three hidden quests have been added in High Pass - one that is universal for both realms, and two that are realm specific. Though these won't be found by clicking on game objects. Players who complete these quests can earn a unique cloak, or vanity pet for their realm.
Mount Fixes
- The riding animation for the Oblast Elk has been fixed (particularly noticeable on dwarfs, who are no longer in gyropack hand-grip pose)
- Riding animations have been fixed for short-legged riders for the bears (dwarfs & goblins) ; new items were created for the Lynsk bear, so any dwarfs/goblins who had this mount from the exotic mount vendor will have to trade it in for one specific to their race.
Special Thanks
We would like to thank our art team for their continued dedication to RoR. Thanks to their efforts we were able to expand our bestiary with some creatures from the Kislevite bestiary. We were also able to add a cloak and new trophies.
RvR

This patch introduces a number of fixes to common Stuck locations in RvR. While we know there are many spots like this throughout the world, we're focusing on RvR first as getting stuck during a battle or siege is never fun. One of the biggest complaints we've heard over the years has been related to Elf Keeps, so we're starting there:
High Elf Keeps
- At long last, new colliders have been built into the switchback ramps on High Elf keeps so players no longer get easily stuck in between the ramp and the wall. This fix results in the ability to stand in the air above these, but we feel that this is far better than getting perma-stuck and having to port out during a siege. Our thanks to the art team for their help with this fix!
Fell Landing Fortress
- Continuing with our changes to help fix players getting stuck, the tent located near the Reaper's Watch Objective has been reduced in size, and so has the tent located at the Southwest corner of the Inner Fortress. These adjustments should reduce players getting stuck here while the fortress battle is still ongoing.
Additional Terrain / Stuck fixes:
- Eataine: Chillwind Manor - Added new rocks near this BO to fix players getting stuck if they fall near the wall.
- Eataine: Arbor of Light - Added an Elf brazier to the 3F to help reduce players getting pulled and stuck in the walls.
- Saphery: Well of Qhaysh - It was previously possible to fall off the east outer wall and get perma stuck here. This corner has been rebuilt to fix this.
- Chaos Wastes: Charon's Keep - Removed the invisible wall getting players stuck when sliding off the north hill of this keep, and added a Chaos palisade above it instead.
- Black Fire Pass: Gnol Baraz - It was possible to fall off the outer wall's ramp near the postern and get permanently stuck here. The dwarfs have paved over the gap to ensure beardlings no longer fall in.
- High Pass: The gateway towards the Hallenfurt Manor BO had a gap that players could fall into and get stuck. This has also been paved over so players now land on solid ground instead.
- Dragonwake: Drakebreaker's Scourge - It was possible to fall in between the stairs and get permanently stuck on the outer west wall. These stairs have been fixed so players no longer get sandwiched here.
If you've encountered other common stuck spots in RvR, please do let us know with a screenshot in this thread.
Scenarios

Matchmaker
- Multi-queue: It is now possible to queue for multiple Scenarios at the same time (i.e., Weekend Warfront + Random Scenario queue)
- Queue Transparency: When signing up for a scenario, you can now see the amount of players in queue on both realms. (In cases of Scenarios not popping, this will help identify which archetypes are missing.)
- Incentive Fixes: Tied to the above, scenario incentives are now unified across both realms. This means that if Scenarios aren't popping because more Order Tanks are needed, the incentive will now correctly be given to Order Tanks, or whichever realm's archetype is needed to make more scenarios pop. (Previously, it would be granted to any archetype waiting in queue for a set period of time.)
Reikland Hills
- The northwest and southeast corners of Reikland Hills can no longer be accessed
- 8 exploitable locations in Reikland Hills which could be used to exit the map bounds have been closed
Content

Bilerot Burrow
Today's patch gives Bilerot Burrow some small improvements. These include:
- Boss 1 of Bilerot Burrow now has mirrored mechanics + HP to Boss 1 of Sigmar's Crypts.
- Depending on your party's performance during Boss 1, a Boon may become available to purchase.
- Doors in Bilerot Burrows are better linked to lockouts, so a server reboot will no longer block progress.
- All bosses in Bilerot Burrow have been moved over into Lua code.
Hunter's Vale
- Players may now earn a Stalwart Soulstone for completing Hunter's Vale. A new repeatable quest has been added outside of the Dungeon which will grant this, up to a maximum of one per day.
Bastion Stair
- Garithex the Mountain's armor shred was making destroying all 3 armor pieces a bit too dangerous. His armor shred on the player has been reduced by 5% per piece, resulting in a new max armor reduction of 75% instead of his previous 90%.
Sigmar Crypts
- New voice lines have been added for Brother Webster, The Reaper, Necromancer Malcidious, Seraphine Pale-eye, and The Lector Twins.
Mentor's Marks
- The Apprentice Boon scrolls purchased for Mentor's Marks are now account bound, and can be mailed to characters of the same faction on an account.
