Let us donate some.

Hello to mostly the devs/mods.

I started playing this marvelous game again on a more serious level a few weeks back, but the weirdest thing has been bugging me. This game, as it stands now, is free. And that bugs me. Let me tell you why.

I believe that every hobby project, what ever it may be, is driven by a feeling of accomplishment and development. Whenever a person feels that he has reached his limit or goal in a hobby, the interest for it fades.
Now if such a thing would happen to you wonderful gods of this emulator, that would be bad news for all of us players.

Some of us invest a great deal of our free time to develop our characters in this game, while most of us know that the whole project can end any given day. This creates an uneasy feeling in me atleast.

Now to my point.
This server breakdown of tonight shows that the emulator is still on a fairly fragile base at the moment, and that technical issues might shut down the game alltogether if they are serious enough.

My suggestion is that you let those of us who can and want to, donate a sum of hard cash against a more secure service by using the money to, for example to aquiring a backup server that can be booted in case of technical issues on the main hardware.

This being said, the people wanting to donate should be presented with a user agreement that binds them to NEVER use a phrase resembling "I am a paying customer and I demand this and that."

The donation would be entirely optional, and it´s only purpose would be improving the stability and consistency of the brilliant service you provide us.
