Ignore function

Please enable blacklisting. That beggar blah-blah-Melm is up everyone's ass already.
The saddest part is that they don't even comprehend if you tell 'eat **** you miserable moocher' as English is not their first language. It really kills the mood, because they PM you within first several minutes after you log in.

You could try using your developed human brain and simply... not respond to them when they PM you. It's not like they're spamming you, bro.

Not rightly sure what to make of that one. You must have an enemy. But this is war is it not. Find him and kill him, or her.

Any news on this? I can see this function being very useful in the future.

"Go and kill your enemies" is not at all a solution to a couple of consistently mouthy people who ruin scenarios. They're still talking, and no matter whether you crush them, hold them or are crushed, the flood continues. If you are facing many of them in league with one another, they'll all attack you and trash talk over your corpse anyway. This may be a PvP / RvR game, but I don't see why that has to mean that outrageous conduct is tolerated.

An alternative would be to render spatial chats such as Shout and Say unintelligible to the opposite realm and retain cross-realm communication via PM, to prevent the trash-talk and wanton factionality being displayed while still enabling direct contact for whatever purposes (bug testing, general chat). This was done in the original game precisely to prevent spatial chats being abused to generate a shitty atmosphere as certain players like to do. I can exhibit the exact same personality on characters of both factions and be treated with absolute scorn if playing the opposite faction to them, while receiving civil treatment as a faction ally. It is ridiculously stupid and needs to stop. You get treated like **** solely because you're playing on the opposite side. It doesn't even matter what you say, whether you were instigating or responding to a comment or provocation, even if you're trying to offer advice on what works and what doesn't - typing at all makes you a target.
