If a dream would become reality..

.. for tanks to be able to see how much damage they prevented in a scenario in the scenario summary window by using Guard.

I know this probably is beyond the realm of things you Devs can do but it would be so cool and satisfying for the tanks in the game to be able to see :P

An addon would not catch the case in which you parry or block your Guard if it were reading the combat log. The server would. Additionally, an addon would have its work cut out to relay the information to everyone else.

You could write an addon and have the server issue information to it by creating a custom channel, but that's the best I can think of and it requires me to implement custom channels.

though parry and block guard is in the combat log (ok without the potential dmg it blocked guard). Any chance to enhance the combat log?

I've said before that the reason I won't implement custom channels (despite having the ability to) is because they serve no real function besides acting as a power source for addons. Any channels I do decide to implement will be for the purpose of allowing the RoR server to send information to addons, but not for addons to use the RoR server to broadcast information to other addons or clients.

There are a few things that could be supported by a custom channel for the server. If/when dungeons come back, a working aggro meter would be useful too.
