Anyone who pugged knew this.
3)Anyone who create pugged Warband knew that their number grow with defeat as well as victory. Their number is often decided by AAO (The higher the AAO , the more recruit they get)
That why you seen wb leader shouting AAO value in their recruitment

People from their own secret guild group think they decide the victor. True FACT IS THEY Often DON'T.
4)Most people don't care about renown, they care more about the medallion from kill quest.
The fact that you can get to like rr36~38 in pug wb in orvr before reaching lvl 35 mean you will be capping rr very soon while still lacking full shinning devastator armor.

I saw you mention it in /say at the keep in Avelorn. But I don't know. That's one example of it not happening, versus countless where it does. In Tier 2 it's actually even worse. Getting Devastator has never been easier. You can pick up Boots and Gloves for like 30g off the AH, and you can get the Chest from gold bags in keeps (Yes, even empty ones). So all you really have to buy with Medallions are the Shoulders (45x) and the Helm (60x). And since the costs have also been reduced, all you need is effectively just 105x Solder Medallions. That shouldn't take you too long to get that, tbh.

While the options you propose do exist, they aren't accessible to fresh players. Sorry but you can't rely on RNG bags from keeps. This is specially true for tanks who do very little damage to keep doors. And usually end up at the lower end of rolls. Not all players are lucky enough to have gold to spend on gear when they need consumables.

The real issue and it was true at launch, is a two sided game, I said it during beta, wth would Mythic create a RvR game with only two factions, after making Dark age of Camelot, knowing full well a three faction game works best.
I perfer to play the underdog myself, but as we saw on live, the majority of players want to play on whichever side is winning, and when that happens, the issue just continues to get worse by new people asking in t 1 whose winning at end game and then promptly rerolling to the winning side for Ezmode .
There is not much you can do to prevent scrubs wanting to play on the winning team for easy renown and less of a challenge, due to the game being designed for only two factions,
At least they are going back with three factions in Camelot Unchained ,
And yes I got way more keep bags on live just showing up at a keep before keep lord was killed, than I did actually participating in the keep take.

There is a massive glaring problem that people seem to look over at the moment.
We currently have on order Kings, INQ + alliance, Cat house + ally, Fuerer + ally, Rigante + ally. Plus pugs.
On destro however, Porn factory (even with 1 and half wb), Nazgul + ally sometimes. Gothic + ally sometimes, cholpi on fridays. Only PF and Chlopi have full wb that I have seen.
When it hits 9:30 GMT PF log out. Then Destro stops in lakes. The action Torque mentions yesterday when we defended elf was actually really sad (apart from KO and Cathouse ally moves) . PF wiped ONCE and then went to keep for 20 mins. Now when they go to the keep, so do all other Destro besides Ade, Satoc and Epo.
What we actually need as a server is a good solid steady Destro EU guild that can front a WB on week nights. We have had to cut back on raids as there is literally no one to fight after 9:30.
As for the X realimg... I'm looking forward to ganking order soon!
