New accounts unable to log in game ***FIXED***

OK, I've breezed through this post but haven't seen the issue I'm having (sorry if I've missed along the way. I have completely updated client and patcher as well as my password and I get "an error occured.." follwed by this message:

You won't find the fix for it with this error as it's this isn't the cause of it.

However:

If you're getting this line of code in your error log:

at System.Diagnostics.PerformanceCounterLib.get_CategoryTable()

You need to rebuild performance counters.

How to manually rebuild performance counters:

1. Go to start, and type in the search box "cmd". Right click cmd, and run as administrator.

2. Type in the command console, "cd c:\windows\system32", and hit enter.

3. Then type "lodctr /r", and hit enter.

3. It will take a few seconds to perform the command.

Performance counters should be rebuilt. Try loading the game, again.

Hi, I still have a problem with logging in, despite changing the password.

Cant get into game, logged, get 'camp screen' but no chars on the screen.
No info in 'black window' about connections etc.
Next is system window: authentication failed, application will be terminated.
Changed password, can login to forum with new one, cant use old one,
Can 'log in' to server with old one, cant use new one
any help?

Keep using the old one to log in game until it's updated (you'll know when it stops accepting it, then start using the new one).

Try replacing your data.myp file with this version.

I can get into game fine but wife just setup a new account to play and did the steps listed and get the same as htraz login info box on the homescreen in game is blank and locks up. Changed the password and used the data file you listed here elven but its still blank for both new and old password. Maybe the login server is having issues?

It could need for a server restart to fix it. For now, have to sit tight until it restarts and see if it works after that.

I created a account a week ago and everything was fine but today i can't log anymore in game (forum ok) .
I changed my password and tried many things (lower case , 8 caracters etc...) but impossible to log on the game .
Also i test with my brother account and it works .
Could you tell me if my account is locked or something ?
