great stuff
the discussion gets a bit technical for the artists, but i'd love to see or do a normal map sculpted on these low poly models
i dont remember how that other thread with normal maps for textures ended

Re: Charmesh to OBJ
Was this utility ever released?
I'd love to check out the character models. I've already extracted the .geom files using EasyMYP, but I can't quite work out how to extract the contents.

Re: Charmesh to OBJ
nice, grabin' a .obj, opening it in zbrush and dividing, then exporting normal map to that low poly model would prolly make it look smooth as hellsaupreusse wrote:YES IT CAN!greenstoned wrote:great stuff

Re: Charmesh to OBJ
I am currently working on a small utility for extracting data from MYP archives, which also allows to view contents of selected file types (geom included). Some screenshots to give you an idea:
I plan to release it eventually, maybe even sometime soon(-ish), just need to stop playing WAR for a couple of days and finish some stuff...

Re: Charmesh to OBJ
all this stuff...
Its gonna be great! Awesome things can be done with it ^^
The server Staff should consider to make a team only for modelling/texturing/animating!
Looks like we have a lot of talented people here
