Is there a reason ruin has less stats than anni / merc?

I seem to recall it being on the same level as both anni / bloodlord on live.

Are you going to make it a quest set like stalker, or something?
From my first post:
Genisaurus wrote:Ruin has an item level of 37, and is available from PQ gold bags. It is intended to be a stepping stone between Devastator and Annihilator gear, which both have item levels of 40. Unlike Annihilator and Mercenary, Ruin has undergone virtually no changes, nor will it in the near future.
You can compare the current stats for Ruin with the "current" (pre-redesign) stats for Anni as a comparison. Ruin always had less stats.

Would we be correct in assuming Hard-level PQs will yield more gold bags per completion?

Following on, will there be a released list of "working PQs" for people to complete for Ruin gear, or are the Devs endeavouring to have all T4 PQs working at release? Obviously it's a lot of NPC scripting etc.

We have been having issues getting PQ NPC spawning/despawning mechanics to play nicely with some quest mobs, and so we cannot commit to getting all of the T4 PQs done in time. However, we will be publishing a list of PQs that will be completed and ready.

Seems I mixed up emblems and medallions, just when I thought I was done with scenarios with a full set of duelist.

Oh well, at least I'll be busy for a while :D

Am I the only one that noticed how strange ruin set for chosen is compared to other tanks?
BO, IB, KN, BG, SM all got armor, toughness, block and middle tree, while chosen got str, tough, res and left tree on their supposedly tanking set :?

Ktana wrote:I have a question. Why you decided to leave in place corporeal resist set bonus for order classes (like Rune Priest, Warrior Priest) and not change it to spirit resist (like we have on devastator/duelist)?
DoK have elemental and Zealot have corporeal resist bonus on their t4 set which is usefull against BW. While corp resist almost useless on order side.
I am a large proponent of the idea that itemization should not be used to fix balance issues. It was pointed out to me that I was being hypocritical by standardizing resists for order and destro, because the resists they were given were those that best protected them against BW/SOs. I take this seriously, and so this time around I elected to keep the resists that were present in the original sets - it's not a buff or a nerf, it's literally what you would have got had I not touched it at all.
1. Great decision. And whoever said this to you was right. There was balancing through itemization with the last sets.
2. Will you try to change this set bonus to give +resist to all 3 resistances in the future/on future sets? Or is this impossible?

Who the hell plays a 2h defensive tank?

Good work btw. Though I kinda agree with mistgun that anni should have block instead of parry.

Come t4 I imagine that will become a much more popular option; for small scale at least.

Chosen with crippling strikes and rending blade comes first to my mind...
