Destru sets need a tweak

They have elemental resist as the three piece bonus... why? Why not corporeal? Or even spirit? Either would be better than elemental.

Damage type distribution across realms

3 classes on Order with elemental damage: BW, KoTBs, Runepriest

How many of these classes have the primary job of doing damage? 1.

4 clases on Destru with spirit damage: Sorc, Chosen, DoK, Magus

How many of these classes have the primary job of doing damage? 2.

Additionally this also mitigates damage from the two offensive covenants DoKs have, and their primary methods of melee healing. Chosen also can do decent damage with Ravage, which Knight does not have an equivalent of.

This is a clear advantage for Order, their main sets mitigating the most dangerous and common damage type. Destruction has no such luxury. I propose that Destruction 3 piece set bonus be changed to Corporeal resistance, like what we had on the Devastator/Duelist sets.

Dont forget that MOST of BW damage isnt elemental. Most of Knights isnt elemental.. Runepriests hardly ever go DPS... I think Engi has some elemental damage though....

As for Spirit damage, yes Chosen deal quite a bit, Sorcs deal quite a bit, DoK doesnt deal a TON of spirit daamge, Magus deals some.

I was looking at this too and disappointed. They said balance stuff shouldnt be addressed via gear, but what you are saying is that its not correctly mirrored? That Order gets a bigger advantage over their resists? Maybe I missed the point.

The reasoning behind it is that if BWs and Sorcs are OP then putting their primary damage as resistance on gear is a workaround and does not fix the core issue. That being said there is no question that one resistance is better than the other

a very ncie Point from tesq . glory that devs see it like that . plz never do Balance over items thats the wrong way in my eyes . u will cut off other chars

While it is seemingly a one sided affair, Th3gatekeeper is right, as per Torques remarks. However this issue may take a back seat in light of the recent information and comments from both the developer team and players regarding the current, work in progress, RvR system.

So why not change order's sets to corp resistance then and leave destru sets as is?

Can we just remove resistances from set bonuses altogether? It's just such a crappy set bonus in a lot of cases or downright OP.

Replacing it with a stat or flat boost (crit/reduction/parry etc...) would be much better and a good compromise imo
