Completely agree with you Torque, before adding a new party quest currency, the remaining party quests need to be fixed and we will see a sizable reduction in the complaints regarding farming gear. I, along with the original poster we more focusing our ideas towards the RvR campaign.
However reading your posts I begin to understand the developers train of thought and I will happily sit back and have my patience. I just hope that as th3gatekeeper wrote, you keep this in mind when rolling out the new and improved system.

Frankly, id almost rather have them undo the release of Genesis gear until RVR is ready to launch... Right now its so broken and unappealing IMO. I see the big plans and was talking to a few guys today about RVR, we all agreed that it would be AWESOME if you paused rewards on RVR till the new system, then released RVR + Genesis gear + RR50 to get everyone back into RVR. Also, putting a RR50 requirement on Genesis gear would be a cool addition as well. imo rng is always bad.. its really good when it goes ur way... but when it doesnt, its too frustrating

Are PQ's not somewhat based off of DPS, as in the more I kill the better bonus I receive? If this is not the case then sure but if this is the case, you will still run into certain classes doing better than other which will create the same competition you were speaking of. I would say keep the loot bag rules as is BUT give everyone who participates X tokens so long as they achieve X dmg (set it to something achievable by every class). In the end do people not want more people participating in end game? Is that not the purpose? I never understood grueling grinds, it excludes players who do not have a guild to help, it rewards no lifing, and has always been a terrible design for subscription servers to rake in money. Why not give everyone the opportunity to be on the same level with less work? The only people who would be against this would be the ones who rely on gear vs. skill.
For Healers sake make it X damage and/or X healing. This way everyone who participates gets the designated amount of tokens per PQ to put towards their gear. The grind will still be there but no one has the advantage.
