Maybe Sildur's mod forcing some level of AF, not sure which.

Not hard to be the best in a market that doesn't exist. Fact.

That's okay. I'm not going to let some loser bully me because he can't accept that a game made in 2008 looks like poop for its time. I've already showed that 16 AF doesn't do much of anything.

Let me get a bad rep I don't care what some fanboys think of me.
You showing this isn't proving anything. 16 AF will look different from PC to PC depending on hardware.
Also, please refrain from trolling. If you insist on doing so, you may want more facts before picking fights.

Warcraft was made earlier than this, and its graphical enhancements over the years have been crude at best.
My WAR looks spectacular, and better than anyone's warcraft.
1st. 16 AF isn't going to look different from PC to PC unless you're doing other graphical changes I don't know where the hell you're even getting that.

2nd. If you think Warhammer looks spectacular just lol. Aion was release the same year and looked leaps better. Seriously if you think Warhammer looks good you need your eyes checked. I know Beauty is subjective but lets be real Warhammer looks like crap.

3rd. 2004 WoW looks better than 2008 Warhammer. I don't care if you prefer Warhammer Art style over WoWs or not fact is Warhammer may have a nice Art style type but the artist did a **** job at portraying it. Your game doesn't look better than WoW I'm sorry it just doesn't. You might believe it does but you're wrong. WoW artist did a good job at doing their art style unlike Warhammers.

Mythic did a crap job at texturing. Stop being a fanboy and look at reality. I think Warhammer online is a fun game but don't act like it doesn't have huge issues that led everyone to quitting and ultimately the game being shut down.

I'm glad the devs are trying to improve the game but people like you who think everything about Warhammer is perfect are not helping the game get to a improved state over how it was on Live.

Unless higher resolution textures exist, there isn't much you can do without up-rezzing them in photoshop and recompiling the files. Anti aliasing only softens pixel and doesn't really help sharpen them. All things considered, this game was actually made a good as it could be for the time. This game still holds up great compared to many current MMO's. Changing it now would only take away from its charm and unique look. 8-)

I've seen other topics about adding normal maps. I really hope that never happens. Specially 3rd party normal maps creating software, most of them look like ****. Only a handful do a great job, but only if the person making them knows what they are doing. Ndo is my personal favorite

Ok Stinkbag.

1st. You are wrong, and do not understand PC's like you think you do.
2nd. I did not say WAR looks "spectacular". You are being dramatic. I said it looks better than WOW.
3rd. Warcraft in 2004 did NOT look better. It doesn't even look better in 2014.
4th. Here is some visual examples below to show you how blind you are.
5th. See yourself to the door and find a community willing to put up with you.

2014 (still looks like a cheap cartoon)

Maybe we should just directly compare a dwarf character.

Warcraft - Upgrade. This is the best they did.

Wait, did you just take random Screenshots off Google that have zero indication of what Graphic settings they're on? LOL.

1. I don't know how you think it works.

2. Yes you literally did say "My WAR looks spectacular, and better than anyone's warcraft" - You must be an idiot/delusional if you don't even know your own words when it's right there in plain sight.

3. Yes WoW did and still does look better than War. You linked random ass screenshots that still look better than Warhammer textures.

This is ALL MOD FREE.

Vanilla (2004) **** still looks better than Warhammer with its muddy ass textures.
Image

WOTLK (2008) same year Warhammer came out looks 100xs better.
Image

Live Dwarfs (2016) looks 100xs better as well.
Image

This is Warhammer (2008) right out the box on max graphics
Image

This is Warhammer (2008) with 16 AF
Image

If you really believe Warhammer is "spectacular" and looks better than WoW you need your eyes checked. I'll take Vanilla 2004 Models with GOOD world Textures all day every day over Warhammer "Okay" Models with garbage ass world Textures.

See your fanboy ass out the door and hit up your local ophthalmologist.

Stink,

Your screenshots are not accurate from WAR with the argument you are making. If I use your argument, maybe you can tell me the graphical settings being used in the first one "out of the box". You just stated yourself "zero indication of what Graphic settings they're on" and you just did that with your own screenshots posted. Hypocrisy.

You think vanilla 2004 wow looks better than 2008 vanilla war? Look.

That was warcraft 17 years ago

And yes. MY war looks spectacular, but I never stated everyone's does. I said it was PC dependent.
I see you like to keep using the term "fanboy" around here... but it seems you are the exact definition of that. You are a wow fanboy and you are flaming on another games forum. Thats fanboyism. You cant deny it. If you like warcraft, I urge you to play it and turn a blind eye to this game. I see so much rage and name calling from you. Its incredibly immature.

I'm not sure what your problem is. It's obvious that vanilla 2004 wow and vanilla 2008 images of these games show war to look better and / or more realistic. If you like, I can pull images posted in 2004 of wow and images posted in 2008 of war with the link locations and time stamps.

This game looking better is my opinion, and many others hold that too. That is why we play this. We like it. You obviously dont, see please see yourself out.

WoW is poor cartoon copy of Warhammer world, even if you are mad fanboy you have to deal with it. 8-)

I have my setting set to max in game I can log on open the Graphics window and take the same screen shot if you like. That's the difference I can back myself up with proof.

Nice job skipping over how garbage Warhammer looks in a real scenario btw.

You're the very definition of a fanboy. You're defending something when you clearly know you're wrong.

I didn't start the WoW flame War. I said Vanilla WoW had better graphics than War and someone dumb troll said WoW sucks than you jumped on the train saying WoW had bad graphics. Just because I just shut your ass down and linked real screen shots you want to run away eh?

So again, take your fanboy ass and go to the ophthalmologist.

And I will say it again. I edited my above post with more pics. These are dated exactly as you require.
Also stop with the insults. It accomplishes nothing. You don't look cool. You look even less cool being wrong on the topic itself.
