I'd love to learn to master it. But the resources/guides are scarce.

90% of the WHs I see are just trying to global the backline healers. This is just bad play, as firstly, any healer with a brain won't die to a single WH. Secondly the high amount of Melee power needed to do anything close to that isn't in the game.

Proper assisting, knowledge of cooldowns, knowledge of useful abilities, and ability to lay damage down. There are around 5 WHs in t4 that I've seen that can do this really well.

I've seen far too many WHs using x3 Fervor just to watch it get cleansed. WHs using AP bullets (lolwut). I've yet to see a WH apart from me use M3 when their group is taking a beating. On the topic of morales, not using M1 when they've got no CDs left while under focus, or using M2 to finish a target.

It's a strong pure dps class, played by numpties trying to global backlines. Offers little in utility but has a high dps uptime on focus targets. Anyone who has play against my WH in my group knows what it can do and how much you can survive on it (Sadly have had too little time to play it recently).

WH is also in a kinda of bad spot in the meta since order doesn't have the flexibility with DPS slots that destro has due to mara bringing every debuff a melee train needs.

Personally I think Slayer+WL is much stronger right now, and I'd even go so far as to say WL does WH's job better (burst damage), and isn't constricted by mobility concerns and the long CD on stealth. WL also is MUCH better on this server than it was on live (pounce dealing huge damage, pet having no pathing issues, SM being as strong as it is on this server, etc...)

And you don't run a WL in your melee train on order you have to run IB, which isn't as ideal as SM+Knight.

I deleted my WH when 35 was the cap, rerolled WL and never looked back :^)

Think i'm just gonna tough it out past t1 on my WH and learn to play it as best I can. I love the armor, and the lore behind the class. I won't be the best, but ill help the team to the best of my ability

I don't like such switching. I can explain. On live official servers you can have characters only for one side - order or destruction. You can try both sides on different servers. But in RoR we have only one server. And if players have t4 characters for both sides, they prefer to play character for more powerfull side. Very often you can see that after total defeat on sieging a castle the population of your side is disappearing and number of your enemies increasing fast. It's so-could x-realming. Player prefer to switch side but not to do all their best to win. It spoils the game.
An other reason to prohibit realm-swithing is need to ensure more safety of your realm military secrets. Any x-realmer can betray easily and give your warband's plans to the enemy party.
The way of x-realming is the way of treason and treachery. This phenomenon can't be liquidated completely, but it is possible to reduce it considerably by prohibiting realm switching on t4

Having characters on either side isn't x-realming. Switching from one side to another when your side's doing poorly, that's x-realming. But if I wanna play my White Lion today and I wanna play my Chosen tomorrow that's a thing I get to do.

Also, go argue against x-realming elsewhere, that's not the point of this thread.
