Proc/Active Renown abillties

Resolute Defence, Cleansing Winds, Imporoved Flee, Efficiancy, Last Stand. Expanded Capacity, Quick Escape

I'm not quite sure why these abillties were introduceed to the game, but I think these abillties actually are making the game more unballanced then it has to be. I'm not quit sure how to explain it. But it might seem ballanceed since every class can get em. It just strikes me as wierd as i think every class isn't supose to have acess to a 100% cleanse on will or a 10 sec immunity against CC. If every class were the same i wouldn't have a problem with these abillties but thats not the case. It kinda breaks classes that are dependant on DoTs, CC, Snares etz to do their thing and make em ALOT worse.

I personally think thesee abillties should be completly removed.

Resolute Defense makes it more skill based tbh.

OP is correct.
As WAR is not balanced around "everyone can do everything" but instead is based on trinity balancing (tank, healer, DD), these abilites are indeed a major imbalance.
They allow for certain actions on archetypes who don't have abilties like that per default (on purpose and for good reasons).
e.g. tanks with charge/CC immunity, cleansing on non-healers, etc. pp.

Would be different with a GW2-like balancing, but that's not the case here (and it will never be).

I agree with roadkillrobin about RD and CW, it makes classes that are suppose to be weak in certain situations not weak and generally brings imbalance to the game however if they were to be removed alot of classes would have to be tweaked aswell as CC on classes changed (imo) which is alot of work.

I guess they are bandaid implementations to help with the issues the game has.

ps quick escape and last stand dont work

...and who dicides what abilities we can use, the bugtracker assistant or the class balance expert? :)

+1 The game was much better off before these abilities were introduced and I think they should be removed.

I think the main argument for RD was Quake/Heaven's Fury being so strong in the meta were RD was introduced but those abillties has been reduced to just a fraction of what they once were. So i think thats allready beeen dealt with.

The Department of common sense and knowledge which includes every member of the community who learned what a proper argument is (viewtopic.php?f=78&t=11105).

Unfortunately trolls are no members of the Department of common sense and knowledge by default.

I do. As said before, I will not implement the remainder of the renown actives until after the class balancing phase. I implemented Cleansing Wind and Resolute Defense on sufferance.
