This is gonna sound like a extreme method, but in a game were min maxing and burst is the dominating factor i don't see any reason to pick a hybrid class when you can maximize the effeciancy of all healers as so called healbots. It also fixes the issues of some classes being super effective as multiples. It does however screw over the racial guilds and racial group comps.
The first thing that needs to be done is restricting the amount of classes in each group to 1. This means that multiples of one or more classes in a single group are no longer possible.
Second things that needs to be done is dissabling the following Mastery paths and all healing abillities within these paths for the following classes. Shaman, Archmage, Warrior Priest, Deciple of Khaine.
Third, Zealots and Runepriest hps increased by around 25%, 25% faster cast speed with same base healing as now. And hots and instant cast increased by 25% in effectiveness.
Cleanses able to target all debuff types and always cleanse entire group.
4th, Recreating all disabled Mastery paths to work to support the hybrid classes. And the hybrid heals mastery options should look something like this. Lifetap Mastery, Dps Mastery, Support Mastery (Dmg Mitigration)
What this does is removing the options to have several minmax healers in your group and adds a demand for a hybrid healer. Aswell as fixing the ballance issues beween healers in each realm.
Im not really sugesting you to make these changes, this is more of a what actually would work to make the hybrid healers a valid group option. I know it sounds extreme, silly and drastic. But I really don't see any other situation were you would pick a hybrid in anything other then 3man roaming.

Or you know...
You could just address arch type classes that are 2good/mandatory like DoK n WPs
And bring them back inline, wile addressing broken things like DC, I'd say now Shammy is in a much stronger and more viable place
Besides I don't want the 1 class limit, how will I be able to make racial group then??

The problems arn't that the other Archetypes classes are to strong, the problem is that the DoK/WP SH/AM are much more effective as healers then they are as hybrids. And I don't see any changes that arn't broken changing this tbh. Nerfing their healing specs to a point were they arn't usefull they will just be replaced by a more competent healer class like running 2 Zealots/RP instead as it will be more effectibve then running 1 Zealot+hybrid healer. The only way that is gonna change is by setting up universal group limitations wich forces people to actually play differently, Bringing down WP/DoK's healing is just a straigt up buff to every dps class. If they wanna correct for Shaman/AM being underwealming as healers they actually need to bring up their capacity to were WP/DOK are, or they will always be replaced by them. And brining WP/DOK down to Shamans lvl they will be replaced by Zealots/RP'sTenTonHammer wrote:Or you know...

I've never played a dps DoK in scenarios, i've played a dps Shaman maybe 2 times, my mainss are healing DoK and Healing Shaman. So gets your facts right please. This is a complete objetive discussion from my end. Shaman/AM/Zealot/RP are fine actually, they always where as Healers. I don't agree with that, I see the problem as in Shaman/AM are underpreforming under preasure while all other healers have a way to deal with it. ZE/RP are very very closee to be in line with WP/DoK. In some situation they are actually better. And like I said, a nerf to WP/DoK is gonna buff all dps classes and aswell as opening up the possibillity of just ZE/ZE or RP/RP as a better option. This doesn't solve anything. It just creates new problems like lowering TTK a new duo class healing king. And then nerfing Zealot to be more in line with Shaman WP/DoK just rises up again and on and on it goes. The only sollution I see to this problem is either A: Boosting the underpeforming healer classes so they are all at a compareble lvl. Or B only have 1 pure healer class per realm.

Group 1: Mixed rdps+mdps
Chosen + Marauder
Black Orc + Lifetap DoK
Sorc Ranged dps
Zealot Heals
Group 2: mdps group
Black Guard + Witch Elf
Black Orc + Choppa
Hybrid Shaman Ranged Lifetaps
Zealot Heals
Group 3: PBAOE Bomb group
Chosen + Sorc
Black Orc + Lifetap DoK
Magus Ranged AoE
Zealot Heals
Group 4: Alt PBAOE Bomb Group
Black Orc + Melee Squig
Chosen + Marauder
Shaman, Ranged life taps + Morale pump
Zealot Heals.
This is just a handfull of comps that I can think of atm that would be viable. I could make a bunch of Order aswell but I think my point comes trough here. The current playstyles would still be viable but you would somewhat need to adapt a bit to to playing with the hybrid healers.
