Sets from Keeps in T4

Currently in T4 keeps we can get 4 types of items: Annihilator set or 3 different sets of accessories in purple, blue and green bags.

As soon as someone obtains annihilator set that player has no particular good use for gold bags or medallions (apart from purchasing potions and gloves + boots for others).

My suggestion would be to make jewelry set purchasable with medallions, but make them really expensive so it is still worth going for a keep (minimum 500 medallions per genesis piece and adjust blue and green accordingly).

That would drag people back to RvR lakes to obtain medallions instead of doing scenarios for emblems (multiple weapons are available and even if they are not the best people farm them for look).

I don't think the green and blue bag drops need a medallion price, they are very meh.

not a fan of this idea personally. Purple bags are pretty rare (for some of us lol) so that will keep us coming back for more.

Oh and then you have the fact, that well a lot of people play this game for the RvR not specifically for a reward but for the enjoyment (Yes, I know that the majority wants progression and rewards).

I'd like if they could add genesis pieces to gold bags as well. When I'm at a keep I'm praying for purple bags and really hoping I don't get gold because I don't need more annih pieces.

I'd like more ways to get Genesis gear, but its probably a good thing its so difficult to acquire since its probably (?) best in slot for just about every class.

I agree that they should be unique but genesis set is creating quite a big gear gap and it is up to a pure luck if you are going to get it therefore I think it should be obtainable by medallions but it should be really expensive. Make a piece worth the same what a whole annihilator set?

I think you could easily offer both.

Honestly im surprised they are not the gold bag reward. Seems like Annihiltor gear can be obtained much easier since you can buy with currency. Not to mention many players dont even want Anni gear...

My suggestion would be to put the Anni gear at Purple, Genesis stuff on Gold and add a Genesis vendor that allows you to BUY the pieces with currency that drops from any bag in RVR.

Heck maybe leave Anni gear @ gold, Genesis at purple but make Genesis purchasable with Medallions but VERY expensive per piece? Like 180 or something?

That way people are encouraged to do RVR but even if all you get are green/blue bags etc, you can still keep saving for the pieces....


In ANY game the most frustrating thing is when the gear you want is completely RNG to get, it becomes an "all or nothing" game and you get frustrated.

The best system, to me, seems to include both RNG but then a slow method of obtaining so that even if you dont have RNG on your side, you eventually can get it.

Just like the PQ system was so frustrating for people, this is the same thing

Hm, I would like it more, if the opt out option would be akctive aggain.... and even if I think Torquemadra wont like the additional work, i would propose some accessory gear for sc too... up to now, you have to go to keeps to get them.... and for my laptop for instance that is just nearly impossible.

But an opt out option would be quite enough, then all players, who dont need gold, purple or blue and green Items anymor could opt out and would just recieve an amount of gold and meds.

well believe me, I certainly don;t know the answer to the problem.

In 20 some odd Keep takes and defenses, my Tank has only ever obtained a single blue bag.

Whichg I might use for a parry ring.

But my sorc in the one and only keep take it was involved with ( like the same day genesis gear was released) ended up with a purple bag.

Im pretty certain that whatever is done, will likely not impact me in anyway.
