It might be possible to introduce a marching stance for Dwarfs, but what is necessary is an obvious visual indicator to show that somebody is obviously mounted. The buff alone ain't gonna cut it. Even the Magus mounts (when they were usable on all Destro classes) got fixed, since despite the glow underneath a player's feet, it still made them appear to be speedhacking, in the same way jumping into the water with a mount makes your mount visually disappear, but keep the buff up.
I call it: The Marching Backpack.
The dwarfs can summon their marching backpack like a gyrocopter and then their backpack appears.
Then they Can march fast like when you fly through water. Backpack indicates their Status change. And when they get damage it dissapears.
