I saw this mentioned in another forum, but went through the first 5 pages and saw no mention of it here.
Are there any plans to fix the Opt-Out option? I know there are guildmates that assist currently in PQs and RvR keep takes where they do not need loot at all or simply do not need the massive bags. This would help tremendously, especially for Ruin gear and Annihilator farming

More specifically the ".ROR PROJECT - YOUR EXPERIENCE" part and you will understand why it isn't already fixed.

Re: [Suggestion] Fix Loot Opt-Out
I personally think it is fine like this for now. Customer satisfaction is not exactly our goal here, this is strictly a QoL fix.
The way around this, is to not bring your friends whop already have Ruin set, therefore will not be stealing allt eh bags.
If you have a friend help, mave them bring a healer and not a tank that starts all of the aggro (highest contribution).
Lastly for RvR Medallions, ummm just pass them if you dont need them?

Clearly understood and I have now read the post you linked. Simply, as the title states, a suggestion, nothing else. If the "hieroglyph" is not yet understood for this, no problem. Thank you for your expedited response.Yaliskah wrote:Hi !!

Re: [Suggestion] Fix Loot Opt-Out
I find it more annoying that whenever I win a bag, it is gold or nothing, and so I have about 7 ruin helms, 5 chest-plates, and 6 shoulder-plates. I cannot seem to win the boots or gloves from the gold bag, and I cannot get the purple/blue/green/white etc. fragments of ruin because I rarely win those bags. Being able to opt out would let me continue playing well and taking top contribution, but being able to take the purple bag instead. Then, once I've won that purple bag a few times, I can get out of there and let others win it.StormX2 wrote:I personally think it is fine like this for now. But with the current broken opt out system, I continually steal the gold bag, and am not able to use it...

Re: [Suggestion] Fix Loot Opt-Out
This, besides it giving crit, is the worst part of the genesis implementation by far, we have people complaining about winning golds while everyone else would be happy to get them because the only way to get genesis is to be lucky on the keep rolls.Pill wrote:I find it more annoying that whenever I win a bag, it is gold or nothing, and so I have about 7 ruin helms, 5 chest-plates, and 6 shoulder-plates. Re: [Suggestion] Fix Loot Opt-Out
I was referring specifically to the ruin set because it much easier to control top-contribution on a PQ then a keep siege, but I agree. Opting out would definitely be helpful in that respect as well.bloodi wrote: This, besides it giving crit, is the worst part of the genesis implementation by far, we have people complaining about winning golds while everyone else would be happy to get them because the only way to get genesis is to be lucky on the keep rolls.

Re: [Suggestion] Fix Loot Opt-Out
Fixing bugs in the game is not a suggestion we really need to hear. We know it exists as a problem, but that doesn't mean we understand how to fix it at this time. It's not as simple as implementing a new feature, because we need it to hook into the existing features.
