True RVR Challenges!

Hey there, since i was played on live I had one idea that was discussed with lots of players and all of them said thats can be nice. So as i can see you are interested in some rvr changes thats why I'm gona share it with u.
I think that it will be cool to add some "duel spot" in wbs as Assist or master looter. It will allow WB leader to use challenge (duel) with another enemy WB. So if that duel accept by bouth leaders players marked as duelists (champions) can fight each other. they will be immune to all another damage or healing so thats only 1 vs 1. WB that win duel gets a small boost to moral and maybe some rp. Loser get nothing or maybe some small debuff.
Leader can pass duel if he dont want to fight but it will be count as duel lose.
There was same way to duel champions of squads in warhammer FB miniature games. So its true. And it will allow some duel or gunk classes to be useful in WB.

So, you want a to pause a 48 person battle so that 2-players can 1v1 each other? Has to be the most gimmicky idea I've seen.

This game isn't about 1v1s.

If you are playing a duel or gank class, go duel and gank. Making the 23 other people in the WB suffer isn't fun for anyone really.

Its not hard to w8 15 sec till they will fight if u`ll get as reward 1rst moral instant. Tall u more other ppl can still fight with each others till champs fighting. Champs can be boosted in damage and size like it was in Alt or in Invcity fights on the last stage, if u are worring bout time.

This sounds like the challenge mechanic from the tabletop which would be cool on a cinematic scale but it makes little to no sense in the case of a group balanced mmorpg sadly... :D

The tabletop version only has one player per army instead of one player per soldier, so nobody has to wait for the duel to end doing nothing.
I'm sure this is a nice idea for a 1v1 focused person who expects to be The Champion, but for everyone else, not so much. Not to mention it makes having at least one 1v1 build in WBs, essentially, mandatory.
