Renown earned by a group member is split with all members of the group that are within the proper range of that player. Any statements to the contrary are merely conjecture, lets keep it factual.

Ok. I'll get way more going 2h then. So it also means more kills.
You are free to do whatever you want but if you will go two hamder with a tank just for dps you should know in warbands it doesnt make a significant chance you will be dying a lot faster without a shield.Roll dps class if you want to damage. There is nnothing unfair in renown bizznezz. And at some point at higher fights you seek renown throu dominating zones..
Basically I always did my renown with loads of kills with aao, scs when my side is zerging. And always brought my tanks up by going two handed and respeccing when 40/40. You can be a good tank 2h if you don't go full squishy. Just saying, for experience, that is way quicker than going snb all the time.

This is flawed logic. You only get RR if someone dies.

Well like if someone is guarded by me then they're in my group right? Hopefully being guarded helps them be more successful and if so then I'll be seeing a little purple rain.
