It's something that is spinning in my head for a while, and I would love to share it and hear the community feedback about it.
It's not a secret that some of us look for a better fight rather than catching BOs. Would it be possible to bring the kill count at a contribution weight in zone locks? That would, in my opinion, discourage the one siding and make people look for fights rather than camp BOs. Of course the victory points related to kills/death should be a decent factor to see some changes. The one thing I may be afraid is encouraging zerging, but that's why I need your insight. Brainstorming.
Let me know!

Re: Kills and VP
That would reward zerging Way too much . Which ever side gets wiped just X realms to other side .

Re: Kills and VP
Are you sure? I mean, it happens maaaaany times roaming with the Gang that order lock the zones and we have two times their kills. Hence my proposal. And I hope of course it will be applied once the client control is on and xrealm under control

Re: Kills and VP
If the big zerg would set their mind to lock a zone and your 6 man crew woud be the thing that stands in their way, how long would that last ? What your suggestion would do is probably make zones lock faster. As it is additional way to gain VP's.

Re: Kills and VP
Ok, correct me if I'm wrong... but in an active territory, kills are already one of the factors which are contributing to the zone lock.

You are correct sir. Small portion of it is rewarded in VP's .Serbiansword wrote:Ok, correct me if I'm wrong... but in an active territory, kills are already one of the factors which are contributing to the zone lock.

Re: Kills and VP
So basically, since the kills are already a factor that contributes to the lock, you want them to bring more contribution to VPs?spikespiegel84 wrote:It's something that is spinning in my head for a while, and I would love to share it and hear the community feedback about it.

Re: Kills and VP
Do the math. They can kill max 6 at the time. A zerg with no communication? You can kill half a warband before dying. And of course, you are never 6 against zerg in a T4 zone, thank the dark gods.Defeated wrote:If the big zerg would set their mind to lock a zone and your 6 man crew woud be the thing that stands in their way, how long would that last ? Yep, looks to me that kills are pretty irrelevant when compared to other parameters.

Re: Kills and VP
I would like to see some actual math before saying if this is a good or bad idea. I can't find the post about that particular update and the contributing factors in question.
